We're located on the corner of 117th Avenue (SR 503) and 113th Street in the Union Park building (look for the large "New Tradition Homes" sign on the front of the building). Our offices are on the northwest corner. When you come in the building, just stay left and you'll find us!
Meet the Team
We all love technology and app/web development, but we're also very unique. Meet the members of the ClearSight Studio team.
Jamon Holmgren (owner)
Jamon is the founder and owner of ClearSight Studio. He provides the leadership and sets the standard of excellence in customer service for which ClearSight Studio is well known. Outside of work, Jamon likes spending time with his wife and three kids as well as watching the Blazers and playing basketball.
Role: Jamon works with you to determine the initial project scope and budget. He manages the larger mobile app and web application projects.
Ah-ha moment: When a project comes our way that is perfectly suited to our capabilities.
Drew Holmgren (project manager)
Drew recently started at ClearSight Studio after stints with the US Army in Afghanistan and Iraq. He brings leadership and management experience to the ClearSight Studio website team. He enjoys playing guitar and fitness training in his free time.
Role: Drew manages project schedules, communicates with our clients, and oversees the website development team.
Ah-ha moment: When a client delivers content on time, the programming team delivers, and everyone is happy.
Daniel Berkompas (software engineer)
Daniel has four years of programming experience, and is in charge of getting things done here at ClearSight. He just got married in December 2011 to his favorite girl in the world and his best friend. In the little spare time he has, he tinkers with blogging, cycling, and just learning in general.
Role: Daniel manages project schedules, communicates with our clients, and handles our SEO.
Favorite moment: When a client delivers content on time, the programming team delivers, and everyone is happy.
Christopher Berkompas (software engineer)
Chris is an experienced programmer who has recently joined the web and mobile application development team. His knowledge of business and programming is an excellent addition to ClearSight. In his spare time, Chris enjoys fishing, hiking, camping, and cycling.
Role: Web application software engineer, web developer, programmer.
Kevin VanGelder (web developer)
Kevin is one of the main developers at ClearSight Studio and approaches each project with enthusiasm. He's also a student helicopter pilot.
Role: Kevin works primarily on PHP websites and web applications. He's also in charge of server reliability.
Favorite moment: Whenever Microsoft releases a new beta or gadget that he can play with.
Silas Matson (web developer)
At ClearSight Studio since 2011, Silas is also interested in parkour, politics, and is dedicated to doing every job to the best of his ablility.
Role: From Concrete5 packages to customizations on our internal framework, phpGenesis, Silas will work with the project manager to see that your project meets with your satisfaction.
Ah-ha moment: Finding out that there is a simple way to do something that had previously been difficult.
Carlin Isaacson (web developer)
Carlin is a programmer at Clearsight Studio and is studying computer and electronics engineering at ITT Technical Institute in Portland, OR. He has been married since September 2010 and is looking forward to the next 60 or so years. In his spare time Carlin enjoys spending time with his wife, playing video games, and his 325 WHP Subaru Legacy 2.5 GT.
Role: Carlin is the programmer behind many of our Concrete5 small business websites and advanced functionality packages.
Ah-ha moment: When something suddenly works, as if by magic.
Yulian Glukhenko (designer/web developer)
Yulian uses his design abilities combined with programming skills to create websites that have both form and function. In his spare time he plays in a symphonic progressive band and is currently working on an instrumental track compilation.
Role: Yulian specializes in front-end programming, graphic design, and content creation.
Favorite moment: I love when we get amateur-level photos from customers - means I can powerup my PhotoShop skills to make those images global-level, award-winning masterpieces.
Lucas Holmgren (sem/seo specialist)
Lucas Holmgren works a broad spectrum of tasks at ClearSight. He is more involved in the "aftercare" of a website as opposed to the development. This involves the new ClearGuard program and Search Engine Marketing tasks such as Google Adwords and SEO. Ever committed to customer service, he works to understand the customers needs and address them as quickly as possible. In his free time he is an audio engineer, session musician, and likes attempting to fish.
Role: Managing our clients' ClearGuard, SEO, and Adwords Campaigns.
Favorite moment: When one of our clients gets as excited about the results from our search engine marketing campaigns as I do!
